As a designer, I've had the opportunity to explore various ways of manifesting and expressing what a brand is and how it should be perceived. AmazeWallet has definitely been the most challenging endeavor in almost, every aspect.

AmazeWallet is a Web3 mobile app and Layer 1 chain.

For those who aren't familiar with the terminology, AmazeWallet provides users with decentralized features and capabilities, allowing them to securely manage digital assets and interact with decentralized applications directly from their mobile devices.

FULLY BRANDING

  • In just two weeks, I undertook the exciting challenge of creating the brand identity, a task often considered risky in professional circles. However, it turned out to be an intense, enriching, and positive experience.

  • If crafting the brand image leads you to connect concepts that you probably hadn't considered before, understanding which elements should represent it and why becomes a great responsibility.

  • In an unexpected challenge, I found myself completely redesigning an app in Figma, despite lacking prior experience in UX/UI design. With a meticulous and exploratory approach, I immersed myself in the task, quickly learning key concepts and applying my creative skills. An exciting experience that allowed me to merge aesthetics with functionality.

  • As a Creative Director, I assumed responsibility for all design aspects. I collaborated closely with the Marketing team, crafting templates to simplify their tasks, devising publication strategies, and contributing to copywriting efforts to enrich our social media presence.

  • Beyond shaping our brand and image, our team has actively engaged in external initiatives including campaigns and events. Rooted in Japanese culture yet resonating on an international scale, these projects reflect our diverse and dynamic approach.

THE LOGO

The founders of AmazeWallet were looking for a fusion between security and innovation. so, I decided to use square brackets tilted to give the impression of a portal to the next level for a web3 experience.

Ed Ball, one of my former colleagues who turned into a great friend, called me to propose this job, which I undoubtedly accepted. The only premise was the speed with which we had to have the corporate identity finished in order to develop it.

I jumped into the pool 💦.

CREATIVE PROCESS

Here I drop some images of the drafts from the early stages of design in the creative process. PP Mori from Pangram Pangram is the chosen typeface for the final version of the AmazeWallet logo.

THE BRAND BOOK

We know that cryptographic terminology has its complexities to be understood. That's why we wanted to create a digestible, attractive, and appropriate manual that describes what AmazeWallet is and why it has come into this world.

As a result, we wanted to get a professional brand book with a human touch, reminding us that technology is always possible because of the power of human nature behind it.
This is an updated short version of the BrandBook.

UI DESIGN

In less than 3 months, we were able to design an entire app, encompassing over 120 pages across 7 different sections. We underwent numerous iterations and back-and-forths with the engineering team, despite the language barrier - they didn't speak English, and we didn't speak Mandarin Chinese. So, we relied on smiles, coffee, and plenty of cups of patience to build the app.

This experience perfectly embodies the saying: "One thing is when you ask for it (UX/UI Prototype), and another very different thing is when it arrives (app development)."

Behind every app, there is a tremendous amount of work involved, so appreciate every experience from corner to corner. There are people behind the scenes, giving their all to make it easy for you.

THE APP

The AmazeWallet app consists of mining space, cold wallet, NFT art gallery, browser, and messaging.

RESOURCES

I've been involved in ALL design projects, including social media posts, videos, internal resources like email signatures, pITCH DECKS, press kits, and presentations. These projects were completed in collaboration with my team to ensure quality and consistency.

COMPANY PROJECTS

As a Visual Designer, I contributed to "Eternal Fuji," a project intertwining the artistry of Tetsuya Komuro, a musician, and Sou A Kou, a painter, alongside music and visuals, to immortalize Japan's iconic Mount Fuji. While I crafted initial logo drafts I was proud of, the chosen design subtly reflects the project's deep connection to Japanese culture. Together with these acclaimed artists, we created a timeless tribute, ensuring Mount Fuji's legacy lives on.
